becoming almost as one,
but with two faces

as we, quarantined
by rampant pandemic, must
find ourselves anew

delving more deeply
into our relationship,
finding new connects
learning more about
what makes us who we are now,
as both you and me

trusting all that’s passed,
moving forward in good faith,
hands clasped as always
